My Print Drawing

In your artwork texture is important to make sure your work is layered evenly and not rough. It should have the same amount of layers to make the texture just right. If you dont use texture then your art won't look as neat. Having multiple refrences of backgrounds and animals is so that you can get a real idea of the habitat. It helps you come up with more ideas and information about the animal. The more references you have can aslo give you more ideas for details to make the art look more realistic. I can tell which one of my sketches is the strongest by evaluating it and seeing which has an equal amout of everything it needed. In my sketch the strongest one will be the one that looks more realistic. The realistic ones are the one that are stronger because it looks real like its supposed too.

Chalk Mural

Beginning this project was complicated for my group. It was complicated because we didn't have any ideas of what to do because we didnt think the project would really work for most ideas we came up with. When we actually began to create the art work the teacher had to start it off for us because we had no clue what we were doing. Working together is really important because u can come up with more details for your work and a good team makes awesome art. When you collaborate you save time. If you don't work together as a team then you will waste a lot of time and your artwork will not be as neat.Our project was successful because we put hardwork into it and took our time. We all worked together and tried our hardest. We added a lot of details and it came out how it was supposed to. Creating art work that others can interact with is pretty cool. I thought at first this idea sounded impossible because it would look too fake. I never thought u can interact with your drawings but u can and i find it amazing.

Value Portrait

The proccess i went through to create this drawing was very intense. It was confusing because we had to trace the values of the shapes before we started actually drawing the portrait. I never drew a picture by tracing it first i always just looked at it and drew it.I found the different values by how dark or light something was on the portrait. There were values in the hair and all over the face and neck. Personally i think my portrait was not good at all due to the tracing of the values. I believe that i could have done a better job just drawing the picture out by looking at it. I tried to do it with the shapes but alls that did was confuse me. Although the project was confusing I still tried my hardest. I just followed the values of the portrait and it came out better than i thought. This was not an easy task but atleast i attempted.

My Art Work

When I began this class and had this assignment it was pretty fun but I was also kind of skeptical about my work. I thought that I wasn't really doing it right so I just took my time and said well this is practice and practice makes perfect. This piece of art work is really successful because as I move towards the future I will become much better with the drawings I make. If I was to do this project over I would take my time until it meets my satisfaction. The most difficult part of this piece is the shading of the shapes when you have to go from dark to light colors but make them blend. From this piece i have learned alot like shading is not as easy as it looks but practice a few times and you will succeed in shading your art work.
